How to Get Advising

Below you can find all of the academic advising units for every major and program at the UO. All advising appointments are currently remote due to social distancing. Phone appointments are available. However, we encourage you to download Microsoft Teams for a more engaging appointment with video and screen sharing options.

Undergraduate Research
For students who are interested in exploring and engaging in undergraduate research opportunities, the Center for Undergraduate Research and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program both offer virtual drop-in open hours, as well as individual advising appointments. Visit each area's website for additional information.
Students can reach out to the Office of Distinguished Scholarships for advising on prestigious national and globally competitive scholarship awards such as the Fulbright, Goldwater, Marshall, Rhodes and many others. Grading Option Changes

There are temporary grading options for Fall 2020, Spring 2020, and Winter 2020. Students should consider connecting with an academic advisor to discuss the implications of making this change.
