Political Science does not require a form or request for Transfer Course Articulation.
An Initial Degree Review will be completed during the first term that a student is enrolled as a PS Major. The Department will review completed and transferred coursework (including AP/IB credits) to determine how it will count toward PS major requirements. Details of the review will be sent to the student’s UO email address prior to registration for the subsequent term; this generally occurs by week 5 of the first term as a PS Major.
It is important for students to ensure that transcripts are sent to UO in advance of the Initial Degree Review. Course-specific and general information regarding transferring credits to the University of Oregon are available on the Registrar’s Website. PS Majors should contact the department if they have not received an Initial Degree Review email prior to course registration for their second term. Courses transferred after the Initial Degree Review will be applied to requirements by UO Transfer Articulation and will not receive automatic review by the department.
