Background and areas of interest: 

I am a quadruple Duck. I came here to be a journalist, then changed majors when I took my first Sociology class. I went on to get a J.D. and two Masters in teaching, one for middle and high school and one for special education. I love adventures and travel, gardening, cooking, baking and photography. 

What brought you to the U of O?

I came here as a freshman and never left. I’ve worked and/or attended school here longer than I’ve been away. I love the atmosphere and the energy of the staff and students. 

How did you get involved in academic advising?

I began advising students when I worked at UO Law School and found my passion. I love helping students find their way and hearing their success stories!
