Describe your academic background and areas of interest.
I have spent most of my professional career supporting and advocating for college students. During this time, I have held various positions within student services, including advising, admissions, enrollment, alumni engagement, and university housing.
Describe your "exploring" experience as a student.
As a student, and even now, I continue to explore. In college I explored the various fields of international relations and studies before selecting my area of emphasis. I studied abroad in two different locations, continents. And I completed an internship in Washington, D.C. In then end, I came back to what I loved to do which is working with students. As a student, I held a number of student positions, including with student success programs centered on advising and student growth.
What do you like to do when you are not advising?
I absolutely love “good” coffee, spending time in my studio crafting when it is raining, gardening when it is sunny, and watching the world go by with my family and overactive dog.
