Background and areas of interest:

I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Communication Studies and History. My first job after graduation was a casting assistant for Francis Ford Coppola in Los Angeles before leaving the film industry to pursue higher education. I enjoy reading, watching movies, taking dance classes, and going on adventures with my son.

What brought you to the University of Oregon?

My twin sister graduated from UO and lives in Eugene. She encouraged me to leave Los Angeles and come work at UO.

How did you get involved in academic advising?

I earned my MA from UCLA in Counseling in Student Affairs. My graduate internship was in health professions advising. I have been in academic advising ever since!
