Pre-Health Clubs

Asklepiads Pre-Med Society

Asklepiads is the Pre-Medical Society. All pre-med students are encouraged to go to meetings and events.  Membership to the Pre-Med Society is open to everyone interested. Contact Asklepiads via e-mail at premed@uoregon.edu or find them on Facebook under "Asklepiads Pre-Med Society."

Pre-Dental Club

The University of Oregon Pre-Dental Club is a campus organization devoted to providing guidance to the undergraduate interested in a future in dentistry and related fields. In addition to simply getting interested students together, the Club also provides unique opportunities to students which have included trips to the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentisty and shorter trips to local clinics to place amalgam fillings in pre-extracted teeth. If you are interested in joining come to one of our meetings, which are announced in Biology and Chemistry courses as well as on the Pre-Dental Club home page.

Pre-Pharmacy Club

The pre-pharmacy club is designed to help students achieve their goals related to any area of the pharmacy field, including but not limited to careers such as pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmaceutical sales representatives. This club is always open to new members who are taking pre-pharmacy courses or anyone who is interested in learning more about this field. Students for Global Health

Since 2007, Students for Global Health has been meeting to learn about and take action against worldwide disease, focusing on the plagues of HIV/AIDS and malaria. We have guest speakers, action events, fundraisers and help coordinate summer internships. We meet twice a week. For more information, visit: http://uoglobalhealth.org
